Making your own paper is fun, easy, and a delightful project. Free your creativity! Note that this class won't teach you to make printer-quality office paper (although you can recycle used office paper to make your own new paper)--it'll teach you to create pages of personalized paper upon which to pen your powerful sentiments, or create cards, or just to frame as a piece of art work, or 3 D cast paper. Homemade paper lends a distinctive personal touch to any project.
This class is a lot of fun! Paper is easy to make and the results are always great!
Sign up for this fun class, and go home with some distinctive and different paper.
All tools, paper and other supplies will be supplied but you can bring things to put in your paper, light weight thin items are best, dried flower petals, feathers, thread, shells, bric brac, grass, sticks insects, ribbons, the list is endless etc. Cost is $25

Concrete is used widely in Panama for all construction. Concrete is also a great medium for crafts and artwork. This 3-day class (plus 4 days of studio time) starts with a short lecture on understanding how cement is made and proper use of concrete, good formulas and how to tell that your workers are mixing and using concrete correctly. Then we learn to make all different types of cement art. 3 dimensional work, bowls, tiles, sinks, birdbaths, mosaic, statues, dishes, lamps, benches, balls -- the list is only limited by your imagination. We will learn finishing techniques that include grinding, carving, acid stain, sealers and wax. You will learn formulas for acid stain.
Classes are in the morning at 10 am with plenty of time afterword to create what you want. The instructor is present all day until 3 pm. Lots of instruction, one on one, is given during workshop days
Cost is $80 includes all materials, acid stain, powder stain, cement, steel, and screen. We have a wide variety of forms and molds for bowls. Click Here For More Info
