[News Boquete] Looking for items for a paraplegic

A local man who became a paraplegic as the result of work place accident lives with his wife and seven children in a very small dirt floor house with no electricity or running water.

Thanks to the kindness and generosity of a Boquete Rotarian the family has a new solar panel to replace one that was damaged by water infiltration over time. We are now looking for three items that would help the family:

1. A deep cycle battery in good condition that will better hold the charge from the solar panel.
2. A small flat screen TV that runs off DC.
3. Any 12V LED light fixtures that would provide more illumination in the home so that the kids can do their homework

If you have any of these items gathering dust and would be willing to donate them to a very needy family I know it would be greatly appreciated.

Please email if you can help.

Thank you

Simon
