There is a two-day virtual film festival featuring two excellent films -- in English -- Saturday and Sunday only. One of the two was filmed right here in Boquete and will be of great interest to many who live here. You will probably see some folks that you know.
THESE FILMS ARE FREE TO VIEW, UNLESS YOU WISH TO MAKE A DONATION TO THE FESTIVAL. They can be viewed on your computer up until midnight Sunday night. You can reach them by clicking on the link above.
The first film is about coffee, in Panama, and is titled "HIGHER GROUNDS." It was filmed principally in Panama.I have saved this one to watch tonight, so I cannot tell you more.
"THE BIGGEST LITTLE FARM" is an uplifting documentary that traces a couple's long term struggle and perseverance in pursuit of their dream to live independently on the land and takes us through their many challenges as they hold true to their deep respect for nature and the environment. In many ways, it is 'simply profound.'
We hope that some of you will take advantage of this brief special window.
