Wingo, a low-cost subsidiary of Copa, will begin direct flights on August 11 between Panama City and David. The airport in Panama City is the small Panama Pacifico International Airport located on the old Howard Air Force Base in the Canal Zone. The one-way price is $49. The flights will be twice a week on Fridays and Sundays.
