[News Boquete] CANADA DAY THANK YOU

EmojiEmojiEmojiEmojiEmoji
Oh, you Canadians! Y'all can sure throw a party! Y'all actually ARE a party!!

The 13th Annual Canada Day Picnic, held last Monday, was absolutely amazing. A combination of hard work and horseplay, everyone who attended left with full tummies and full hearts.

Because I know very well I'll forget someone, I'm not even going to attempt to mention the names of any of the organizers. (You know who you are.) But I will say that you Canadians not only had your ducks in a row, but you had them doing close-order drill!

Thanks to you, and of course, all those who attended, Boquete Knitters and Quilters received $1400 with which we will purchase yarn and fabric to continue making and giving away baby quilts and blankets, sweaters, caps, booties and soft toys to the tiniest and neediest of our neighbors: the indigenous babies.

You Canadians really know how to keep us in stitches! And we are so grateful.

Brandy
