You may have already heard that Maureen (Muzz) Laverty, an eight year Boquete resident who had a total hip replacement in 2020, earned the right to compete in the UCI Gran Fondo World cycling championships by winning her age group in a qualifying race in Costa Rica last month.
This year's championships are being held in Aalborg, Denmark, August 29 - September 1. Airfare, hotels, meals and other expenses are beyond belief! She has no sponsor or other financial support. Please help realize her dream of competing against the best in the world!
