[News Boquete] I Love Going to the Gym & Doing an Eclectic Mix. Come Join Me! **Plus a Chat on August 8th.

Moshe Feldenkrais, an  originator of the Somatic Exercise Movement, said we continually need to rebirth ourselves as we age. He felt strongly about not getting stuck in a rut, living one's life repeating and recreating the past over and over.
He, as neuroscientists today, believe in the actuality and the positive health benefits of growth, change and renewal.
So...Step out of or Expand the box of what you've been doing and  Strengthen and Rejuvenate Yourself!
And Remember... You're as Young [or as Old]  as You Feel.

Come to the Gym and Work Out doing Pilates,Yoga, the big ball, weights, machines, stretchy bands and more!
Add quality, longevity and creativity to your life and Have a Great Time Taking Fabulous Care of Yourself!
And Most of All KNOW Strength Training is an Integral Part of any Fitness Regime.

Here's what strength training can do for You-
Manage your weight. Strength training can help you manage or lose weight, and it can increase your metabolism to help you burn more calories.
And if you're thin it will strengthen saggy muscles so you're fit and not skinny and weak.
Strength Training will also- Protect your joints from injury. Building muscle contributes to better balance and reduces your risk of falls. This can help you maintain independence as you age. It will also help you...
  • Manage chronic conditions. Strength training & nutritional responsibility will powerfully reduce the signs and symptoms of many chronic conditions, such as arthritis, back pain, obesity, heart disease, depression and diabetes.
  • Sharpen your thinking skills. Regular strength training can help improve thinking & learning skills for older adults. It will serve to strengthen your nervous system through coordinating your body and mind.
  •  Develop strong bones. By stressing your bones, strength training can increase bone density and reduce the risk of osteoporosis.
  • Enhance your quality of life and improve your ability to do everyday activities.
