[News Boquete] Hydroponics at Boquete Health and Hospice Monthly Meeting

Monthly Meeting
Wednesday
July 10th 10-11am
Animales Event Center

Chris McCall has been a hobby gardener for all of his life. In his early 20's he created the bonsai booth for the plant sale at Denver Botanic Gardens. It turned out to be one of the most profitable booths. The next year he was the co-chairman of the plant sale and the following year he became the chairman. Chris also gave guided tours of the conservatory; he had keys. For one summer, he managed a very large parking lot nursery. Chris has enjoyed water gardening and created many ponds for himself and other people. He got into hydroponics because the cutter ants in Caldera, where he lives, are almost impossible to deal with. His hydroponic garden is cutter ant free. Attendees will receive a PDF of his PowerPoint slideshow and over 35 pages of notes. At the presentation you will see many parts of a hydroponic system close up.
