Thursday, June 23 - 11:00am - "All About French Bread", presented by artisan baker, Mort Rabkin.   This is a class to practice basic bread-making skills, from measuring and kneading to baking in Mort's clay oven.  Learn to vary your ingredients, and to create "artsy" breads using one classic recipe.   The $25 fee includes hands-on class, recipe booklet, lunch with wine, and 2 loaves of French bread to take home.  The class will be held at Mort's home in Boquete, near the town center.  Book tickets at boquetegourmet@gmail.com.

Wednesday, June 29 - 11:00am"Panamanian Beef: From Tough to Tender", presented by
Professional Chef Juan LinaresIf you'd like to learn how to take ordinary, tough cuts of local beef, and turn them into tender and delicious dishes, you won't want to miss this very special class.  You'll also be using fruits and vegetables from our local market to make side dishes to accompany any meal. This   Class will be held in the Kent kitchen, El Santuario, Boquete.  $30 fee includes demonstration by guest butcher, hands-on class, recipe booklet, beef charts, Juan's signature cocktail, and full-course dinner with wine.  Limited seats available now at www.boquetegourmet.com.

Monday, July 11 - 5:00pm - "Thai Won On!", a very provocative look at Thai cuisine, presented by Bistro Boquete's Executive Chef, Lauretta Bonfiglio.  For the first time ever, you'll be able to experience making authentic Thai delicacies from ingredients found in Chiriqui, including spring rolls, two Thai curries, a variety of exotic sauces from Thailand and more.  $30 includes the hands-on class, recipe booklet, full-course dinner with wine, and one of Lauretta's signature cocktails, "My Thai".  Reserve your seats now at www.boquetegourmet.com, see calendar on the right, click July 11.
