Laura is 9 years old. She was born with lower leg deformities and has not been to school because she has trouble walking. She is now receiving help from FPI (Foundation Pro Integration),has had a corrective surgery and will be receiving physical therapy. She lives with her parents Manuel and Ercilia, brothers Anderson age 12, Reinaldo age 5, and sister Emilsa age 3. They are living in a small country cabin with no electric, Manuel works on farms for $10 a day when work is available. Laura is a happy, bright child looking forward to school. Laura and her parents appreciate the food assistance from BVB and the support and help from FPI.
