[News Boquete] Rag Rug Class

At 10 AM next Saturday the 4th of October at the FPI, I'm going to teach how to make "Rag Rugs". I have bags of old clothes that were donated by Amigos de Animales for people to take home to make them. All the tools needed are scissors or a sharp knife, upholstery needle and thread. I am hoping that this will become a cottage industry, a way for them to make money. If you have a neighbor or know someone who would like to learn, please sponsor them. At the fabric store next to Mailboxes, scissors are $6, thread $3 and needles $1.49. If you have old scissors, needles, or thread you can donate, it would be awesome. If you have some old T-shirts, sheets or others that are in rough shape, we'll take them. If you want to learn, see you there.
