This Week:   Sept 9:  A very special presentation on the future of Boquete from members of the Alcalde's committees on Boquete. They will be  providing information and vision. The presentation will be in English.  When he was running for office our new Alcalde told me he would be involving the community, including the expat community. This is something really special an opportunity to hear and if you choose to get involved in the next five years of change in Boquete.

Please come early we only have 100 seats and when they are filled we will close the doors and start.

Sept 16; Gene Melton, Disaster Preparedness. This is a FREE meeting, the presenter is paying so you do not have to pay the $1. The topic will be about Emergency Preparedness for Boquete and surrounding areas.  I want to provide more information to the general public on what information, supplies or equipment they should have access to immediately should there be a catastrophic event take place in Boquete and residents are more or less trapped in the bowl we live in for up to several days.

Sept 23  Attorney Lea del R. Adames Franceschi will discuss labor law and the most common litigation cases in Panama. She will provide attendees  with tools and skills to become better and more informed defendants in liability cases (including labor and civil cases), since it is very common that is virtually certain that everybody will be subjected to a lawsuit at least once during their lives.

Sept 30 An educational opportunity.  Mike Petersen returns.  The Story of Albert Einstein and the Theory of Relativity in Layman's Terms. Consider this an open university course, for $1.

Oct 7 : A commercial presentation on Self Storage. Details to follow. (In commercial presentations the presenter pays so there is no fee at the door for those who attend.)
