BCP 20th Anniversary Spectacular Review

20 years? Heck the BCP is just getting fired up!

 

Following up BCP's fabulous production of the classic play Harvey, the 20th Anniversary Spectacular swings wildly and wonderfully across the stage to a slap-dash, high energy, hilarious, improvisational, erratic, potpourri of performances that can only be described as a celebration of the past and a joyous dress rehearsal for the new future of the BCP.

 

The stage lights are on high and the future of BCP is so bright you're gonna need shades.

Our two improvisational MCs, Mike Schwartz and Patrick Reynolds take us behind the scenes, showing us "how the sausage is made" in live theater. We become part of the loose-knit free flowing party on the stage - lots of fun.

And did I mention that ADMISSION IS FREE?
 

I want to personally welcome Kevin Brown and his wife Karen. Kevin is BCP's new musical director. He is a seasoned professional already moulding our dance troupe with his energetic direction of Cell Block Tango from Chicago and of course, Thriller, among others. Much more to come and welcome Kevin!
 

There are far too many cast members and skits to mention them all, but let me mention a few standouts and newcomers: Ashley Simone, a professional dancer and choreographer; Ingrid Suarez, a newcomer to our stage and already a star; Chris Minori's brilliant voice of the man-eating plant in Feed Me; The Boquettes 2.0, including original member Jeannie Miller; and the six women who murdered their nefarious husbands in Cell Block Tango - As the song goes: "They had it coming! If you were there, you would have done the same…"

 

The BCP is fired up and I can't wait to see the next production, Young Frankenstein.
