Lately, I’ve been asked a version of the same question: What can we do in times like these? How do we stay strong when the world feels unstable, heavy, or uncertain? It’s a real question. And not an easy one. Because the instinct is often to look outward — to try to fix, to react, to push against what feels wrong. But more and more, I see that the way we meet the world depends on the state we are in ourselves. If the system is overwhelmed, we react. If the mind is restless, we add more noise. If we are disconnected, even well-intended actions can lose clarity. So the question becomes slightly different: Not only what can we do? But also, from where within ourselves are we acting? --- This is the space I offer through my work here in Boquete. Not as a withdrawal from the world, but as a way to remain steady within it. - In *Tai Chi*, we practice moving from a place of awareness rather than tension — building a quiet, grounded strength. - In *Qi Gong classes*, we work directly with the nervous system through breath, posture, and attention, allowing the body to shift out of constant alertness. - In Spanish conversation sessions, the practice becomes one of presence — listening, responding, and connecting without pressure or performance. - And in gatherings like the *“This Little Light of Mine”* retreat, together with Amelie, I hold a space to step out of the noise and reconnect with something more grounded and real. --- ### May Series: *"Come Home"* This May, I’ll be offering a 5-week Sunday (online) series focused on the nervous system. Each session is designed to support how you relate to stress, rest, and internal balance — through simple, practical tools drawn from Qi Gong, breathwork, and mindful movement. A space to: - slow down the system - release accumulated tension - build resilience from within Because strength, in times like these, is not about pushing harder — but about becoming more stable, more aware, and less easily shaken. (Details will follow soon. You’re welcome to reach out if you feel this might support you.) --- In uncertain times, doing something meaningful matters. But just as important is this: What is the quality of the presence we bring into what we do? This is the space I offer. You’re welcome to step into it. ---- *Ways to step into this work* If this resonates, here are a few ways to engage in the coming days and weeks: * *Weekly classes (Boquete)*** Tai Chi, Qi Gong, and Spanish conversation sessions → Ongoing spaces to build awareness, presence, and internal stability * *Special class this Sunday 12th of April at 2pm @ The Haven*** /Healing Chi Dance/// → A more fluid, expressive session to release tension and reconnect with the body in a different way * *Retreat: “This Little Light of Mine” next Tuesday, 14th of April in Torio, Veraguas. -> more info: ***https://www.naga.care/retreats -> reserve your spot: https://buy.stripe.com/3cI14n0KQdbb0H24EC2kw01 → A dedicated space to step back, reset, and reconnect more deeply * *May Online Series *(Sundays 9 AM EST / 3 PM GMT-1)** /5-week Nervous System Series/// → A progressive exploration of stress, rest, and resilience through breath, movement, and attention For details, schedules, or to join, please reach out directly.
