Greetings Beloved Community of Boquete!
For those who do not already know me, let me introduce myself. My name is Katherine Sophia, founder of YiA International School of Personal Transformation & Yoga, and Boquete resident for over 21 years. It is with great excitement that I would like to invite you to step deeper into your embodied, authentic, grounded self by joining us to experience a transformational week of growth, healing, and empowered strength right here in our beautiful highlands!
From July 19–25, 2026, we will be hosting our annual Yoga Teacher Training in Boquete designed for those who feel called to deepen their relationship with their bodies through movement and breath, and to step into a more conscious, embodied way of living. This training exists to empower you to take a deep dive into yourself and transform your relationship with your physical body and inner beliefs. United we will explore the ancient wisdom of yoga philosophy, Ayurveda & meditation, set against the picturesque nature and vibrant energy of Panama’s mountains. Whether you’re dreaming of sharing your practice with others, or simply ready to invest in your own transformation, this week is designed to meet you where you are. IF YOU CAN BREATHE, YOU CAN JOIN. There are no physical requirements to attend this training and can be of benefit to anyone no matter what spiritual path you walk.
In addition to the training, I offer deeply personalized transformational coaching services and private retreats for individuals/couples/families/seeking greater connection, clarity, resilience, and alignment in life and in body. From yoga‑based recovery and breathwork, to holistic support for wellness seekers and athletes, my coaching is tailored to help you move with purpose, meeting you where you are at in the perfect present moment.
