   Art Café Upcoming Events:  Two Fabulous, Very Special Dinners

                      First Special: Father's Day Lamb Dinner: Sunday, June 21st,  2PM – 9PM
                                                                                               (after our Sunday Brunch)

Starter

Your choice ofOrganic Mixed Garden Salad- Red and green oak lettuces sprinkled with walnuts and apples, lightly tossed with our house vinaigrette; OR Vegan Carrot Ginger Soup .

Entrée
Lamb Tagine:  A timeless Moroccan favorite with an attitude. Choice leg of lamb marinated in a mildly spicy and exotic herb rub, slowly cooked with delicious vegetables and fruit to create a succulent sauce. Served on a bed of buttered couscous.


Side

Cucumber Raita: Cooling yogurt with cucumber, cilantro and mint as a perfect, light accompaniment to Lamb Tagine.

Dessert
Rum Bread Pudding: Melts in your mouth - a scrumptious finale to a wonderful meal.


Price for complete Father's Day Lamb Dinner - $28.  Reservations required due to limited plating of this special menu. Please call Art Café 720-1821 or cell 6740-1016.  We offer our open menu as well – no reservation required.

Second Special:  Community Ethnic Meal, Friday, June 26th 5pm – 9pm
(Limited to 40 Patrons)
Tastes of the Mediterranean
(all inclusive -  if all vegetarian desired, please call – we are happy to accommodate you)

Starter
Italian Zucchini and Chickpea Salad: Diced, organic zucchini, tomatoes, mozzarella, fresh basil and chickpeas (aka garbanzo beans) in a blend of olive oil, herbs and spices. Light and satisfying.

Entrées
Moroccan Braised Beef:  Cubed choice beef in a hearty sauce of tomatoes, red wine, fruit and exotic herbs and spices served with Fusion Rice.  One rocking dish.


Greek Vegetarian Moussaka: An all-time favorite of thinly sliced eggplant, zucchini and potatoes layered and oven-baked with tomatoes, cheese, herbs and spices, topped with béchamel.  A golden taste delight.  


Dessert

Baklava:  Layered phyllo pastry infused with butter and honey with pistachios and nuts; a surefire capstone for the evening.
