[News Boquete] Theater in Boquete

To all BCP members:

In about six weeks, BCP will hold its annual election and we need your help. If you value the Tuesday Market - and the dramatic and entertainment contributions made by your theater group in the past - we ask your participation in helping to create it's future. We have arrived at a time for change of perspective and direction... and to achieve them, new ideas, leadership and creativity are needed.

 The board of directors of the organization will undergo significant change in the coming election. Several of it's long time members will be stepping down to pursue other endeavors. Accordingly, we are looking for other members of the community to step up and bring new energy to develop a better, more vital theater group. If you believe BCP plays an important role in suppporting the arts, entertaining the community and promoting harmony in the greater Boquete area... then, this message is for you.

Please volunteer to become a board member. Don't wait until August to step up... do it now so that you can familiarize yourself with the way the organization functions and see first hand what the future holds for your community theater.  A number of "at-large" board positions will be created to accommodate all who volunteer at this time. 

So, here is your chance to get into "showbiz" - and contribute to the Boquete the community. If you would like to become a board member, please call or email the organization's president, Rhody Edwards, at 6678-9759 or rhody@malamafoundation.com. We look forward to your support.
