President José Raúl Mulino inaugurated the José Mulino Rovira Oncology and Nuclear Medicine Center today, Friday, October 16, 2026, at the José Félix Espinosa Barroso Hospital in Bugaba, Chiriquí Province.
• Oncology and Nuclear Medicine Center: This is the first medical facility in the interior of the country to be equipped with a linear accelerator, representing an investment of over 40 million balboas.
• Coverage and Benefits: It will eliminate the need for cancer patients from Chiriquí, Bocas del Toro, Veraguas, and the Ngäbe-Buglé Comarca to travel to the capital for treatment
