[Noticias] BCP Art Show

Thanks to the art community for your patience while BCP has been dealing with a variety of issues that have influenced the production of the 2011 Art Show and Film Festival.

We are extremely pleased to announce to you that Boquete Artworks (a new organization of artists in the area) has agreed to produce the event, under the direction of Betty Dabney.    In order to give Betty time to organize the logistics, the dates of the show have been moved to
Friday, May 6 from 12 noon to 6 pm
Saturday, May 7 from 12 noon to 6 pm

The same format of offering a 6 movie film festival about the lives of artists will be included with the price of the tickets ($2 for one day/one film or $5 for two days/all 6 films), will be used.   Tickets go on sale at Mail Boxes, Etc and the Tuesday Market on April 18.    More details will be forthcoming from Boquete Artworks soon.

For now, Mark Your Calendar for the dates above, and come to BCP Theater & Events Center to support art in our community.

Those artists who were previously advised of their acceptance into the show should immediately contact Betty Dabney to confirm that you are available for the new dates.   Contact Betty at bdabney@gmail.com as soon as possible to confirm your participation.

Thank you again for your patience.   BCP is a growing organization, and many of our folks are stretched to their volunteer limits.   We are grateful to Boquete Artworks for stepping forward to work with us on this event.
