[Noticias] Animal Sterilization Clinic March 27, 2011

Now that carnaval is over, it is time to think about getting those animals to the sterilization clinic coming up on March 27, 2011 at the Amigos de Animales office in Bajo Boquete. It is right around the corner from Tammy's Restaurant and beside Amigos de Boquete.

To volunteer, call or email Alicia McGuigan 6780-3565 or akcleavenger@hotmail.com We want everyone to enjoy their time volunteering at the clinic so it is important that we know whether you want to work mornings or afternoons and if you have special skills that we need to exploit such as giving shots, stitching up animals, taking temperatures, listening for heartbeats, are bi-lingual and can freely talk with our Panamanian clients about their animals.

To date we have sterilized over 2800 animals but still have many more to take care of in the outlying areas. P.S. We need cat food, kitten food, puppy food, and dog food for animals being fostered and street animals being fed. This can be dropped off at the TMM to Carole Newsome or brought to the clinic in March. Carole has several animals for adoption as do others. Check out our website www.fadab.org to see your wonderful fluffy choices. We have a whole batch of puppies coming up for adoption in the next few weeks. Put your name on the list to get first choice! We are able to continue our work because of the generosity of our donors and hard work at fundraising. Please help us help the animals.
