Cloud Forest Botanicals -- The Medicine Way Trail Tour

Reply To: Elizabeth Worley <veworley@gmail.com>

Now that the Green Season (read, rainy) is here,
Cloud Forest Botanicals has changed our tour schedule to the following:

By appointment (24 hours in advance) for groups of 3 or more:

Monday mornings -- 9:30 AM
Wednesday mornings -- 9:30 AM

For larger groups, by special arrangement, we will also do tours on Saturday mornings, 9:30 AM.

If you need transportation or guidance to Finca Luz, we meet people outside the front of the Oasis Hotel at 9:15, promptly.

The tour lasts for approximately 2.5 hours.
Walk from high cloud forest, through meadow land, along well-maintained trails with breathtaking vistas, down into the wetlands.
Along the way, your guide will identify rain forest medicinal plants, and explain their healing properties from scientific and traditional view points. Learn the indigenous lore and the current state of pharmaceutical research about these powerful plants. Wear good walking shoes, bring your camera and binoculars.
Finca Luz is also a Birder's paradise.

End your tour with a sumptuous morning refresments on The Terrace.
Enjoy herbal lemonade, Boquete coffee, fruit breads, jams made from the finca's oranges, local cheese, and tea sandwiches.
Ask questions about plants, healing, and life in Boquete with people who have lived here for years and are not trying to sell you real estate!

The cost is $30.00 per person. If you are a Boquete resident and have already done the tour, bring 2 new guests and you can visit for free!

Saturday, May 5th. We have a special tour scheduled and there are still four slots open.
Email or Call 6636-8663 or 6527-5584 to reserve.
