Don't miss The Art of the Pollera now on display at the new Library

"On January 20, 2012, Boquete hosted its annual Pollera parade, drawing women and men, young and old, from all parts of Panama to celebrate the Art of the Pollera, the national costume of Panama. Several bands materialized and soon we were engulfed in a maelstrom  of what appeared to be swirling, twirling, glittering exotic butterflies, each more beautiful than the last."

Those of you who enjoyed my photos of the January 2012 Boquete Pollera Parade
owe it to yourselves to visit the new Boquete Library
for the first-ever exhibition of ultra-quality photographic prints celebrating The Art of the Pollera
featuring the beautiful women (and men) of Panama.

The library is open from 10AM to 5PM every day

Next week, after the April 24 Tuesday meeting
Join us for a special
Coffee Reception
10AM to 1PM
Come to the library, enjoy and cup of coffee and a snack and view the collection of
exquisite high-resolution prints
located on the ground floor adjacent to the coffee shop.

Prints are available for sale, with the proceeds benefiting the Library
