Air horns at the Tuesday market

At long last, a new shipment of BOAT HORNS has arrived and will be available at the Tuesday market. 

They are available for a $20 donation to Fundacion Alto al Crimen. 

After the market they will be available at the Bistro restaurant in downtown Boquete.

For those of you who are not familiar with the boat horn, we use them as a personal defense and panic alarm device. In case of an intruder, they can by simply held out of a window and blasted, which will wake up everyone for a half mile around. They are cheap, never make false alarms and  in the event of a confrontation, can be used like pepper spray to severely disrupt an attacker. We recommend keeping a can by your bedside for fast response to an emergency.  We also recommend that you show it to your neighbors, let them know what it sounds like and make a plan for them to - at least - call the Boquete Hot Line if they hear the alarm.
