Dear Boquete,
Soloy, located in Panamá´s Ngöbe-Buglé Comarca, has suffered significant damage from the recent heavy rains. Currently, 20 homes have been flooded, as well as the schools. Boquete Outdoor Adventures wishes to continue it´s record of disaster relief efforts in Soloy and asks the community of Boquete to help by donating. The community of Soloy currently needs:
Basic food and utensils, including rice, beans, other food staples, utensils to eat with, pot and pans, etc.ç
Basic hygiene items, including soap, tooth brushes, tooth paste, etc.
Blankets, towels, and bedding
Clothing for all ages
Baby necesities, including diapers, food, blankets, clothes, etc.
School supplies, including notebooks, pens, pencils, etc.
Please drop any donations at the Boquete Outdoor Adventures office in Plaza Los Establos between today, Oct. 9, and Wednesday, Oct. 12, between 9:30 am and 5:30. Please no cash donations as this is an in-kind donation drive. We will be organizing our own team of BOA staff and volunteers to bring all donations to Soloy.
