Hola Bid 4 Boquete Supporters:

We have some news to report:

1. We're selling t-shirts this year with the B4B logo on the front. They will look something like this with the B4B heart logo spelling out "Yo amo (heart) Boquete" which is in line with our Valentines Day theme. The shirts will be available shortly at the Tuesday market as well as some other outlets. The price will be $10.


2. We've gotten tremendous support from the business community. Our event sponsor again this year is Banco General. We also currently have three corporate sponsors: Casa Solution, Habla Ya and Chiriqui Storage.  We are expecting a few more sponsors to step up shortly. We also would like to thank the Boquete Feria Board and the Boquete Community Players for contributing their facilities for our use in February.

3. We've gotten a lot of donations that are up for bids. You can check them out on our Auction Gallery. Remember, if you bid full price you "Buy It Now". Less than full price bids will be carried into one of our two auctions (live and silent) in February.

4. We've updated the Bid 4 Boquete web site and changed the look. You can see the amazing list of donors by clicking on the MAJOR DONORS page. You can donate something by clicking on the DONATE page or you can bid on an auction item by going to the BID FORM page.

5. We're experimenting with a few new ways to diversify our fund raising efforts. This next year will see us selling Bid 4 Boquete t-shirts and also sponsoring a separate Art Show in cooperation with Boquete Artworks.

6. We're looking for folks who will commit to baking goodies for the bake sale, raising some plants for the plant sale, making craft items for sale, or donating items to the venta de patio sale. We can even pick up your larger castoff items. Contact us at bid4boquete@gmail.com to respond to any of these pleas.

Thanks to the entire community for all the support. This is our 5th year and we plan to just keep on getting bigger and better.
