Hi all the community in special my customers and people whko don’t know me.

 

Here is a brief report about what is going with the technology here in Boquete

 

Most common issues from January of 2011 to October

 

1- Virus infection (common source internet downloads)

2- Network fails (Internet and Intranet) common sources: router, switchs, or AP in bad shape and ISP troubles

3- Electrical Problems (voltage fluctuation, lightning storms, grid blackout, defective Power Supply)

4- Hard Drives Fails  (sources:  shocks, factory problems, electrical issues, virus, defective heads, etc..)

 

Most Popular Works the people like to do

 

1- Upgrade or Replace their old computer

2- Upgrade their WI-FI network for their Tablets and E-readers (as Candle, Nuke, etc)

3- Get TV from US through the internet

4- Get internet content in the TV

5- Setup Backup Drives for the computer

6- Upgrade their Antivirus

7- Buy a better UPS or surge protector

 

People Complain about

 

1- Internet Service (too slow, fluctuate, they don’t notify when they have a problems)

2- The Electrical service from the main company (voltage fluctuation)

3- My computer is too slow (software problems, or hardware at the end of the road)

4- Email problems ( by spyware, spams, email client corrupt, upgrade or changes in their service without any notification)

I tested the developer beta preview and is very nice:
