[News Boquete] U.S. Embassy Information

Both the U.S. Embassy Panama Webpage and the Department of State’s Country Specific Information webpage on Panama contain a myriad of useful information for American citizens.  We encourage U.S. citizens traveling to or living in Panama to register through the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program.

U.S. citizens must make an appointment with the American Citizens Services unit; emergency cases involving lost or stolen passports and/or those needing Special Consular Services excluding passports, CRBAs or notarial services, will be accepted without an appointment during our business hours and may be accepted otherwise on a case-by-case basis.

The U.S. Embassy is located in Building 783 in Clayton, next to the Las Esclavas school.  Please access the map of the Embassy.

Our business hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 8:00 am - 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm; Wednesday: 8:00 am – 12:00 noon; Friday: 8:00 am – 10:00 am, excluding American and Panamanian holidays.

Monday-Thursday: 10:30am- 12 noon and 3:00 pm- 4:30 pm
Friday: 10:30am – 12:00 noon

For automated information:  317-5030
