Today, Travis Taliaferro from Valle Escondido was on Boquete Chatter to talk about EcoFest 2013 this weekend, Agri Tourism in Chiriqui, and working towards Valle Escondido being the first community to start growing organic food on the property in order to achieve sustainability and provide the very best of food and lifestyle there for the residents. Travis also talked about a Gondola to Volcan Baru from Boquete.

Last week, Minerva Salles, a former ABC reporter was on the program discussing earthships, recycling and sustainable communities in Chiriqui and Panama in general, and will be doing a documentary on that subject for worldwide distribution. Minerva is Panamanian and lived in the US for many years.
The Ecofest 2013 event happens Saturday March 9th with the ascent to Volcan Baru in Boquete at 7am, which is 3,475 meters or 11,400 feet high, and the highest point in all of central America. There is an overnight stay to see both oceans, the Pacific and the Caribbean in the morning.
