| AT the Tuesday Morning Meeting today Martine Heyer (spokesperson for the Tres Mujeres) presented checks totalling approx $50,000 from BID 4 BOQUETE to four local Charities ; Amigos de Animales, Buenos Vecinos de Boquete, the Handicap Fundacion, and Club de Leones ( Lion's club). Each charity accepting the $$ had representatives there who explained the invaluable services their organization provides and how they intend to extend their services with the donations awarded. We wish to extend out warmest thanks and congratulatons to the BID 4 BOQUETE steering committee ( Las Tres Mujeres - Martine Heyer, Bonnie Williams and Penny Barrett) and to each one of the Charities and their reps, (Ruby Mckenzie - Animales, Loiuse Orr- Buenos Vecinos, Irene Haines and Migdalia- Handicap fundacion and the presidente of Lions Club, Boquete Chapter (and his team) and to all who support them. The spirit of working together ( Panamenos, both native and extranjero) to expand our circles of concern for this community was truly in evidence today and it was wonderful.
