Hello Boqueteños!

Spanish by the River - Boquete needs volunteers to begin low cost English classes!

During the last year we have received more and more requests for this English course and 2011 seems like a perfect year to start. 

We have worked very hard to finish the program and searched for ways to keep the price as low as possible. 

All we need in order to start are 3 native English speakers volunteers per class!!

Our opinion is that the best way to learn a language is to practice with native speakers. Every class we want 3 volunteers so there is someone around to help with the pronunciation when there is an exercise where the students have to practice a dialogue. You would be tutoring a small group of 5 people.

The program will start on the first of February. There will be 16 classes over an 8 week period. Classes are Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6:30 to 8:00 pm.

The program is created for our residents who would like to improve their English so they will have more confidence in speaking with foreigners. 

I'm NOT asking you to volunteer for 8 weeks total (although I would be really excited if you could), just one or two classes would help a lot!!! I need to know if you are interested in improving the English language of our 'neighbours' and when you are able to volunteer. You can sign up by writing me an e-mail in which you give me the date(s) that you can help out. See below the dates:

Price for the course is $40 including the materials.
