[Noticias] International Prize Winner Performs in Boquete

Boquete's own child prodigy Manolito Sanguino has had a VERY exciting past few months, and we thought you'd like to know what he's been up to.   After his last concert here last December, he and his father Manuel traveled to the Netherlands where Manolito attended Master Classes in piano and saxophone at the Conservatory of Music in Utrecht,Netherlands and gave concerts in different locations around Holland.   In late February, Manolito competed in an international competition of young musical talents from Russia, Ukraine, Sweden, Holland and other countries, organized by the St. Petersburg Conservatory of Music in Hilversum, Netherlands.      In this competition, Manolito won FIRST PRIZE for best pianist and musical talent!!!!!

Manolito is currently preparing a new repertoire of compositions by Ludwig von Beethoven, to perform with a 50 piece orchestra to be held next August in Ad Aussee, Austria.

For those of you have had the thrill of attending one of Manolito's past piano and saxophone concerts performed at BCP, you'll be happy to know that TICKETS GO ON SALE TODAY (May 9th) for his May 28th concert.   For those who haven't heard the heart soaring music of this 12 year old musical genius, you will want to grab a ticket quickly for this one night event, because they always sell out.
