[News Boquete] Christmas Donations for Needy Families

Hello Everyone

I write for your help! I know many of you adopt families or become Holiday Angels for needy families.

I live in Los Naranjos and I have 3 beautiful Panamanian families that could use help

Family #1

Young husband and wife with a baby that will turn 1 on Dec. 6. They got a loan for $9K to buy the inventory and licenses of a little corner convenience store right next to Hostal Nomba. On this loan, they pay $400 payment and they also pay rent, the people they bought the store from really screwed them and did not leave any inventory or anything inside the store, they have been struggling to make their monthly payments and of course have not been able to stock their little store. They really work hard and want to save their business as it is all they have for their future and their baby. If they default on the loan, the bank will take everything they have, as you know in Panama, sequesters entitle them to take belongings as well.  So, for them, any donations of canned goods, or products they can stock their store with, money or Christmas presents for little Mia will really be appreciated, They are the nicest most humble people you will ever meet and baby Mia is just a doll who just started to take her first steps on her own.

Family #2

A single mother who is actively looking for employment. She has a daughter and could use help for her tuition and uniforms, shoes, school supplies and of course Christmas presents.

Family #3

A single mother of 3, she is a domestic helper so of course her earnings are little, their house is really poor and of course she struggles to make ends meat and will not be able to provide Christmas presents for the children.

If you decide to help, I will introduce you to the families directly and they will thank you themselves. These are direct contributions for these awesome people.  If you want to give a cash donation, Ms. Marguerite Heffner will happily collect the money from you and make sure it is distributed according to your family of choice or divided up evenly between the 3 families.

Please help me pass the word out to all the residents of Valle Escondido and surrounding areas whom you know to have a good heart and would like to help these people for the Holidays!!!
