[News Boquete] A new class, Boquete's Feel Good Tonic and the schedule during Thanksgiving week at BodyMind Dojo.

Hi there,

Some of you have asked if there would be classes this coming Thursday and the answer is yes, the morning classes are still on.

For those of you returning from the cold below is a reminder of my ongoing schedule.  Please note that I have added a new class you may want to explore at 11:00 am on Mondays and 2:00 pm on Thursdays.  Below I offer a short explanation on the intention of this class.

I am also offering for the first time a wellness product.  More on that below.

Let me start with the schedule:

Monday
  • 9:00 am to 10:00 am:  Feldenkrais/Alexander Class
  • 11:00 am to noon: Qigong Calisthenics with Swiss Ball Routines using the Feldenkrais Approach to movement.
Thursday
  • 9:00 am to 10:00 am:  Feldenkrais/Alexander Class
  • 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm:  Qigong Calisthenics with Swiss Ball Ball Routines using the Feldenkrais Approach to movement.
Also available are the one-on-one sessions with the Rubenfeld Synergy Method, which integrates the Feldenkrais Approach with the Alexander Technique and Gestalt Therapy.  These sessions help you understand and overcome the issues related to your current physical discomforts and limitations.

If you are new to the approaches to wellness I use, you can book a free assessment to help you determine whether you need one of the group classes or a Rubenfeld Synergy Session.

Regarding the new class:  Qigong Calisthenics with Swiss Ball Routines using the Feldenkrais Approach to movement:

This class takes you beyond the relaxing nature of the Feldenkrais/Alexander lessons that aim at promoting flexibility and body structure alignment.  The objective with this class is to help you identify issues in your body related to the core musculature in a more dynamic and challenging way.

This class helps you understand what your body's muscles need when challenged with movement routines that arise when sitting or laying on the Swiss Ball.  We also explore how we can help energy circulation in the body with Qigong Calisthenics.

Regarding Product Offerings:  As some of you know I have teamed up with the owner of Finca Feliz, Lynne Van der Kar to distribute her line of wellness products.

I've started with a product that enhances and improves the function of the nervous system:  we call it Boquete's Feel Good Tonic.  This is an Ayurvedic Tincture extracted from Ashwagandha (grown organically in Boquete's Finca Feliz) that is generally used to reduce anxiety and lack of vitality.  However Ashwagandha also helps improve physical performance in both sedentary people and athletes.  This is something we all need as we go down the aging spiral.  Soon I will also announce some of the other products created by Lynne that promote wellness and vitality.

If you need more information on the new class or the Ashwagandha please let me know.  I would love to share my personal experience with this wonderful gift from nature.  Write to me at gbvdco@gmail.com or call me at 6678-3297.

Wishing you a Happy Thanksgiving,
--
