[News Boquete] Want to be a volunteer driver & meet some of the musicians at the Jazz Festival?

We need a couple more volunteer drivers, preferably with SUV's or crew-cab trucks just in case we have to haul some instruments or sound gear.  I was on the transportation crew last year, and really enjoyed it - but I'm the only one returning this year.

You will get to know some of the musicians on a personal level, and talk to them like ordinary people. Plus, you still get to see most of the main show and attend some of the jam sessions and parties .

You will be asked to shuttle musicians between their hotels, restaurants, parties, jam sessions, and the primary venue at the Valle Escondido outdoor Greek-style amphitheater.  And there might be a couple of airport runs. 

You will be given some initial assignments, and then be "on call" during whatever part of the Wednesday through Monday Festival you volunteer for.  Or you might be assigned to a musician or group for a day or evening.  It's really fun, and a great way to help out with the logistics of the festival.  And you will get a free volunteer T-shirt.
