Starting July 1st, traffic on the Via Boquete from El Frances to the Volcancito turnoff will be routed in a normal 4-lane pattern.
Two lanes North, Two lanes South. Vehicles should only be traveling in a forward direction on the right hand side of the median.
The speed limit is 40 kilometers or 25 miles per hour as construction work continues. Ignore the posted signs that state other limits.
The notice says there will be Police assistance during the first days to help with orientation and monitor speed.
It is my opinion that when driving in the section of highway from Centro Ivan to Alto Dorado that is curbed, it is probably prudent to travel in the left hand lane to avoid other vehicles that will be constantly stopping in the right hand lane to load and offload passengers.
