Her years of experience commenced as a staff Gemologist grading diamonds at the Gemological Institute of America in New York; next was lead gemologist in New York at Hasenfeld-Stein Diamond Company working with cutters to improve loose diamond quality. She also worked in the Gemological Institute of America in California. In Hawaii Linda opened up her company called International Jewelry Consultants and enjoyed appraising and designing jewelry, as well as wholesaling diamonds and colored stones. She worked with diamond cutters in Johannesburg S.A. direct from the diamond mines. In Los Angeles her interest led to her employment in the estate jewelry department working at Butterfield's auction Gallery. Having moved to Washington State Linda ran the appraisal department at Fox's Gem Shop in Seattle, Active Appraisals, and Pacific Auction Gallery in Washington State. She strives for a wealth of information in her field of work. Well rounded, she is available to answer your questions and see that your jewelry is sold for the highest value. She still has many ties and connections to New York and that is where she will dispose of those articles no longer wanted.
