[News Boquete] Boquete's newest band -- The Boqats

Boquete's newest band, "The Boqats" (pronounced Bo Cats), will hosting the open mic night at Amigos on Thursday, June 20 starting at 7pm.  All musicians who would like to show off their talents should come and enjoy a night of musician comradery. The Boqats will be starting off the night with the sounds of Van Morrison, James Taylor, Bill Haley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Chuck Berry, Wilson Pickett, The Blues Brothers and many more great artists of the past. The lineup for this new band consists of newcomer Skip Blythe from South Carolina on guitar and vocals, Gary Whiting from Virginia on bass and vocals, Billy Squeeze from Washington on keyboards, harmonica and vocals. Then musicians who would like to play can come up and join the fun.  This is sure to be a very enjoyable evening for all musicians and the audience as well.  See you Thursday night at 7pm at Amigos.
