[News Boquete] Alto Lino/Palo Alto Crime Prevention Measures

As we know, there have been a series of burglaries on the loop between the Rock restaurant and Alto Lino. At this point, we know a great deal about the suspects, who they are, where they live and how they operate. Unless they are caught in the act, which is unlikely, there is little that can be done through the police to get them off the streets and out of our living rooms.

However, it is within our power as a community to put them out of business instantly. The only reason they continue to burglarize expat homes is because it is easy to do and profitable. We know a great deal about their method of operation(MO), what they are after and how to stop them cold.

Some of our approaches might involve hidden and visible cameras and other very specific deterences and defenses. We don't want to telegraph to the bad guys what we have in mind, so it would be inappropriate to discuss these matters on this forum, Boquete Ning, etc.
