Gail checked on Irene today. She is improving -- please understand that "improving" means baby steps, not big steps -- but baby steps are a good thing. They gave her a spoon or two of pureed food today, and she was able to swallow it successfully.
Again, she does know and appreciate all the good thoughts, positive energy and prayers, but she said, "Please, no visitors." She needs all her focus to be on getting better.
