Fwd: [News Boquete] September Amigos de Animales clinic

On Sunday September 30, 115 animals were sterilized at the Amigos de Animales clinic, 74 dogs and 41 cats.  This was a record for us at our small set-up at the Amigos de Boquete office, and thanks to our 5 intrepid vets and hard working volunteers, this was also accomplished in record time.

 

Among the many that help make the clinic run smoothly, a special thank you to Nairn for the delicious lunch, Mike's Global Grill for the pizzas, and to Anyansi Menendez for putting up our vets at the El Oasis Hotel.

 

It is very rewarding for us to see that now well over half of the people bringing in animals are local Panamanians.  They are unfailingly warm and gracious in their helpfulness, patience, and gratitude.

 

Together we are making a difference.
