Because of your generosity, Bilbioteca de Boquete was able to receive a $1500 mini-grant from Bid 4 Boquete. This will help us to continue to provide free library services and cultural events to the Boquete community.
As an example of the services we provide, in the month of April over 1000 users came in and took advantage of our free computer/internet workstations, over 130 people are learning a second language with our free online language program, and more than 1400 books were checked out. We also have a rotating art gallery on the 3rd floor and photo exhibit on the first floor, as well as numerous visiting speakers and musical events.
