[News Boquete] Used Smart Phone Needed for a Good Cause

There is a young Panamanian woman in our community who is confined to a wheelchair with Cerebral Palsy. She has no immediate family and not very helpful more distant family. She is trying to finish her highschool education and she had a used Blackberry phone to help her. Apparently, on the days she needed the internet for school she could pay about a dollar to hook up to the internet for that day.

Somebody stole her Blackberry on Monday. We at the Handicap Foundation can supply her with a standard phone so she can make emergency calls out but we don't have the resources to replace her Smart Phone.

We're thinking there might be some kind soul out there who has upgraded their smart phone and would be willing to donate their old phone to a worthy cause. If that kind soul is you, please hit "Reply" to this email and it will get to the correct place.
