| The Boquete Knitters (formerly Boquete Knit 'n' Knatter) wish to thank Bid4Boquete for the generous grant of $1000! We will use the funds, wisely and carefully, to purchase the supplies needed to create baby blankets, quilts, sweaters, caps and booties which we give to the staffs at the Volcancito Mission, the Centro de Salud, and the Clinica in Palmira Arriba.These three clinics then give the items to their Ngabe-Bugle clients. We cannot thank you enough. Bid4Boquete is an organization with a huge heart, and the Tres Mujeres, the board, the volunteers, and the community at large all work together to make Boquete a better place for everyone to live. We are honored to be a small part of that work, knitting together two - no, three - cultures into one community. |
