[News Boquete] Caution and Observation

Dear friends,

I sadly have to tell you that it appears another dog was attacked with a machete in the area of Super Centro Ivan and the water tower.

By the time I was aware of the problem she had been sewn up with sewing thread, had a massive abdominal infection, swelling, strep infection on the skin, and to top it off she had been hit by a car and was paralyzed, only able to lift her head, not roll over or support any weight on her hind legs or her front legs, not even lift her head and shoulders to eat. The kindest thing we could do was to put her to sleep.

Please, encourage your neighbors to keep their animals close to home. And keep a watch out for this person who thinks the solution to dog problems starts with a machete.

Please try to find a home for our other attack victim Bo who is in desperate need of a forever home. Thank you for all your financial support which allows us to treat these animals with kindness and dignity.
