Dear Friends and Members of Artworks: Happy New Year!
JANUARY GATHERING
We are beginning the new year with January's gathering lead by our own Sally Zigmond. Sally will be using Abstract Expressionism and a couple of her favorite artists to further explore the "principles of art" and whether or not these particular artists accepted those principles. This is the movement that arose in the 1940's and was the first specifically American movement to achieve international influence and put New York City at the center of the western art world. It should prove very interesting and interactive. You won't want to miss this great session!

BOQUETE ARTWORKS: PURPOSE
The purpose of Boquete Artworks' gatherings is to bring together individuals who are interested in fostering the understanding and appreciation of art in the community. We want to provide a forum for educational opportunities and support local artists. We would like everyone to come and share with us your creations or just share your passion for art.
ARTIST TRADING CARDS
We are continuing to trade Artist Trading Cards. If you do not know what ATC's are, here is a short tutorial:
They need only be 2.5" x 3.5" and be traded, not sold! Pretty simple rules. After that, the Sky is the Limit!
