[News Boquete] Boquete Artworks and Buenos de Vecinos

reply to: boqueteartworks@gmail.com

Dear Boquete Community:

Recently Buenos de Vecinos sent out a notice to all of us, requesting our help in providing local school children with badly needed supplies. Notebooks, writing implements, art supplies, paper, etc, are all in great need.

As an organization whose Mission Statement includes 'enhancing art education in the schools", Boquete Artworks is proud to donate $100 to Buenos de Vecinos to be used for art supplies for our local children. The good works done by Louise Orr and her staff are part of what makes our Boquete Community so special!

We encourage you to donate what you can, as well. Remember, you can bring your contribution to Mailboxes, Etc by the end of January. They can use cash, but the items listed below are on their wish list as well. Many of these items are available at Mandarin in Boquete and a wide selection of them can be found at Wong’s or Daisey’s in David:

200 stripe pages notebook

96 stripe page notebook

160 stripe page notebook

Notebook dual stripes

Notebook for drawings

Pencils

Color pencils

Pens (blue ink)

Rulers

Eraser

Pencil sharpener

Water color paint

We encourage you to do what you can!

Yours in art,

Boquete Artworks
