Loló Ledezma: Since she was 10 years is working recording jingles and commercials for TV. Lolò participated in the contest, Panama this is your song. And at 18 she joined the Brazilian band Samba 3. In 1991 participated in the contest of the Iberoamerican Television Organization (OTI) resulting winner and representing Panama in the international version in Acapulco Mexico.
Loló has dabbled in various genres Musial as the Rock, Soul, Typical, Merengue, Salsa, Jazz, MPB, Pop, among others. She feels comfortable in either of these genres.
she has been dedicated to doing TV commercials, jingles and backup vocalist for live events and recordings for such artists as Samy & Sandra Sandoval, Osvaldo Ayala, Basilio, Anayka,Los 33, Os Admirantes among others.

She currently lives in Boquete and is dedicated to composing and recording her own music and hopes to soon offer a CD that collects this production.

Alcides Fuentes:Chiricano songwriter originally from Boquete, a child environment conducive his artistic production, his first school, his own home where her older brothers ran the guitar and wind instruments, his parents always supported his penchant for music. His first formal lessons receives from Professor Francisco Velazquez in different musical projects, also had the privilege of being a student of the famous Gonzalo "Chalo" Brenes (who was a great musical figure of our province) with whom he studied piano and basic composition. 
Later decide to pursue a career in music at the Autonomous University of Chiriqui, where he was a member of the choir and orchestral ensemble polyphonic and where he obtained his Bachelor of Music Education. He then travels to Spain where he studied "Modern Harmony and Composition" at the Academy Musits El Vendrel of Tarragona. 
Alcides Fuentes also has played in local bands as lead singer. He has had the opportunity to share his music in Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Spain. Currently a member of "Touching Wood Road Tour" which is a Panamanian Songwriters Association that highlights the value of the songwriting.
 
Right from the start in 2007 the Boquete Jazz & Blues Festival has been the biggest music event in the province of Chiriqui. The 2012 edition will also be the first ever festival in Panama to showcase first-class international Blues acts in addition to notable Panamanian and Latin American artists featuring Jazz and Latin American music styles.
 
Our vision is to firmly place Boquete on the national and international map of Jazz and Blues events that are not to be missed.
 
Our mission is to promote the musical arts and tourism in the Chiriqui highlands and beyond by attracting growing numbers of Panamanian as well as international music-aficionados to this beautiful area.
 
Our dedication is to support musical education at schools in the Boquete area. To this end 30% of the festival proceeds will be used to buy musical instruments and improve musical education in schools. Remaining funds will be saved for future festivals.
