Request for Children's Books (Spanish or Spanish/English or English)
The reading & book-lending program, Loco por Leer, operating in Palmira Arriba, has a need for more books for children & young people.
On Saturday mornings, we have a class for Panamanian children ages 7 – 15 years. We have reading sessions and activities in the classroom and at the end of the session the children have an opportunity to borrow one book per week.
On Wednesday afternoons, we have a reading time for English speaking children and their parents. These children also have the opportunity to borrow one book per week.
Three ways to get books to us:
· Drop books off at Mail Boxes Etc. We will pick them up.
· Drop books off at the Tuesday Market at the Palmira Gold Coffee table.
· Contact me and we will work out a pick up point.
