To join us at Boquete Artwork's next gathering on August 16 at 10:30 a.m. It will be held on the third floor of the Boquete Public Library. A presentation will be made by local artist Sharon Ball on Focal Point and Emphasis as Principles of Art.
You do not have to be a member to come. We welcome anyone interested in art. We would not be surprised if you do decide to join after the gathering! Our membership is only $25.00 per year and the many benefits may be seen by visiting our website at www.boqueteartworks.com.
We use Artist Trading Cards to practice the principles and elements of design that we are exploring. The only rules are that they must be 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" and be traded, not sold. We encourage anyone and everyone to try their hand at making a few. They are fun and easy. And, you will so enjoy trading them with the rest of us.
The focus for ATC'S at the next gathering can be either Line/Direction or Focal Point/Emphasis. If you need information on how to create ATC'S, please email us at our above address and we will send you all the information you need to enjoy this wonderful art form.
