Many of you have shown interest on attending the class on the local beef. I will do an updated class since there is continued interest. I plan to do 2 classes for 12 people only.
Topics: We will hear a talk from Jerry Knezic from the CUTTING EDGE on knife maintenance and proper use, Jerry will be available for sharpening knifes. I will show you edible herbs and fruits that typically grow in a Chiriqui garden, you may take some seeds. We will discuss the local cuts of beef. You will receive the materials and prepare 7 recipes with 3 local beef cuts, a bilingual USA beef chart with the Panamanian names to compare. We will eat the prepared dishes. You will get answers to any questions you may have on ingredients.
Location: Hotel La Casa Del Risco, Hacienda Los Molinos, El Frances sector on the highway from David to Boquete, about 12 Km after Dolega.
Directions: after you pass the gate, follow the signs to the hotel.
Dates: Mondays August 12 and 26, 2013
Time: 10 AM to 3 PM
